Houston's premiere Ultimate club, Space City Ultimate, is proud to bring you our annual Space City Classic on June 23 & 24. Come join us at the pristine fields of the Houston Amateur Sports Park, home to the MLS Houston Dynamo, for a weekend of fun and exciting ultimate.

Cost for a team bid is $400

Normal tournament amenities will be available to teams such as bagels, fruit, and peanut butter.

Space City,

We will be hosting a tryout for interested out of town (OOT) players. This OOT tryout will be spread out over three weekends involving SCU events. Continue reading for more information concerning OOT tryouts and you.

The 2012 calendar is officially up and includes all of the current practice dates and scheduled tournaments. As more dates are finalized, the calendar will be updated.

Some things to note:

May 19-20 - Riverside Classic

June 9 - SCU Official Opening Day - practice will actually start on June 5 (Eclipse/Fuel) and June 6 (Ignite), but due to some scheduling conflicts with HASP our official opening day will be June 9.

June 23-24 - Space City Classic

Houston Ultimate Community and Space City Ultimate,

This Saturday and Sunday high school ultimate players from around Texas will be gathering at Old Settlers Park, in Round Rock, for the Texas state high school championships. There are three teams representing Houston and HUC is a sponsor of the tournament.

The tournament director and TX State Youth Coordinator, Brad Kaylor, has issued a call for volunteers. If you are inclined to support youth ultimate in TX

Congrats to the members of Space City that went to Club Centex this past weekend and blew through the competition in far less than ideal conditions. Space City went undefeated on the weekend to claim the championship with outstanding play from all members who didn't mind getting a little dirty.

Well, it's winter again and that could mean only one thing-- Indoor Ultimate. SCU is hosting Houston's 7th Annual Indoor Tournament and registration is now open.

Come join SCU for some Ultimate goodness on Jan 21st, 2012 at Zube Park!  We'll be organizing a coed hat tourney for all levels.

Registration is now open on the HUC website.

Proceeds will benefit Space City Ultimate and the Houston Ultimate Community.
