The Athletic Development committee's goal is not to just achieve “results”, but to efficiently and effectively teach the athletic goals that are instrumental to attaining the Space City Ultimate goals. We will be researching and providing several workouts that focus on efficiency and power; methods proven to improve athletic movements such as speed, agility, jumping, etc. Our techniques will be based on what is being taught at the highest levels of performance facilities around the world.

The first official day of summer does not begin until the summer solstice on June 21. However, with the record temps, overwhelming heat, and suffocating humidity last week, there should be no doubt in your mind that summer is here. With summer’s arrival comes an added responsibility that you as a player must pay attention to….your hydration. Hydration is a key component of your performance in any sport at any time during the year. However, with the heat bearing down upon you, your ability to stay hydrated becomes even more important.
